Sheryl Underwood is an American television host, comedian and performer famous for hosting The Talk, a popular talk show on daytime. The Talk. Sheryl Underwood was born in Arkansas and was raised at Little Rock, Atwater, and Atwater. Sheryl is from a troubled family. She spent most her childhood caring for her younger older sister Frankie. Frankie was a polio sufferer. As a teenager, she was plagued by problems with her mom. Sheryl states that in an incident, she was stabbed by her father due to him being too close with her.
