Aahoo Jansouzshahi (10 January 1980), better known as Sarah Shahi, an American actress and former model. She portrayed Carmen on The L Word in 2005, Kate Reed in the USA Network legal drama Fairly Legal (2011-2012), and Sameen Shaw in the CBS crime drama Person of Interest (2012-2016). [2] She was also a part of the main Det. Dani Reese appeared in Life [3] as well in Alias as a supporting character. 4 She was part of the cast of Reverie in 2018. She was a frequent character in the show City on a Hill on Showtime in 2019[5]. She was also a part of seven episodes on The Rookie playing the role of Jessica Russo in the romantic character Jessica Russo. Shahi met Robert Altman on the set Dr. T and the Women in Texas. In the set, she was advised to make the move to Hollywood and received roles in Alias and Dawson's Creek. She was in the second season's support role for DJ Carmen de la Pica Morales, on The L Word in 2005. Shahi's two-year contract was ended after the fourth season. Her character was then deleted from the show.
